1s are facing clockwise and 2s are facing counter-clockwise.
This dance, like many others, shares the A1/A2 with Quorndon Hill. Many bands named this dance after themselves, hence Pyewackett Gallop is the same as Old Swan Gallop, is the same as ....... I claim to have written this version as do many other callers make claim to an identical dance.
The dance also became known as the Everlasting Circle Dance after we finished off the Aug 8, 1986 Sidmouth Festival Anchor Ceilidh by doing the dance 40 times!!
